Right-wing comedian has lashed out at Dana White for slapping his wife
Dana White, president of the UFC, admitted to slapping his wife on New Year’s Eve. After a video of White slapping his wife went viral, he admitted to the incident to TMZ. TMZ got the video evidence of White and his wife chatting on a VIP balcony at a nightclub. White slaps his wife across the face in retaliation to her attacking him first.
The pair were in Cabo, Mexico, enjoying New Year Eve when the unfortunate incident transpired. According to bystanders, the couple were heavily intoxicated and the situation escalated quickly with no initial signs of tension.
White confirmed to TMZ on Monday that he is the man in the video and that the woman in the video is his wife. According to White, the event occurred on December 31 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico:
“I’m in Cabo, Mexico for the holidays with my family, and my wife and I were out with family on New Year’s Eve, and unfortunately that’s what happened. I’m one of the guys, you’ve heard me say for years. There’s never, ever an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman. And now here I am on TMZ talking about it.”
White added:
“There was definitely a lot of alcohol, but there’s no excuse,” White continued. “I’m literally making no excuses for this thing at all. It’s never happened before. It’s the first time that it’s ever happened, and people are going to say what they’re going to say. It is what it is. And whatever people do say, it’s deserved. I deserve it. It happened.”
Right-wing comedian Alex Stein trashes Dana White for slapping his wife
Alex Stein was miffed by Dana White’s actions on New Year’s Eve despite Anne White, the wife of UFC president Dana White, stating that her husband’s violent actions captured on video were not characteristic of him.
White, President of UFC, and his wife Anne were in Mexico to celebrate the New Year when an argument broke out, prompting White to slap Anne twice. A public apology from White was released after the footage was obtained by TMZ , much to the dismay of the combat sports supremo.
Alex Stein took to Twitter to write:
“Wow! @danawhite is a scumbag for this right here.”
He further wrote:
“Under no circumstance whatsoever should a man ever hit a girl….I don’t care that she slapped him first.”
