Former UFC Champion Junior dos Santos fires back at Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns recently made distasteful comments about CM Punk and the AEW roster. This did not sit well with the American Top Team member Junior Dos Santos and he fired back at Reigns.
During an Interview with Complex, Reigns had claimed that he can throw Punk and the rest of the AEW roster out of the club without any issues. The Tribal Chief also went on to say that he is a D1 athlete and Punk and people like him won’t impose any real threat on him.
Reigns said:
“I don’t think anybody really believes someone 200 pounds soaking wet with no explosive bone in their body could ever really do anything to me. I’m 6’3”, 265 pounds, a legitimate athlete. So, I mean, when it comes down to it, I’ll throw him and pretty much the rest of that roster out the club no problem. They’re just little brothers, you know?”
Apart from everything, Reigns seemed to be a bit disrespectful towards them. Which is nothing new when it comes to the clashes between WWE and AEW, however, Punk is a former WWE wrestler who will certainly go down as one of the best in the company and these comments did not sit well with a lot of people who believe the same.
How did Junior dos Santos respond to comments made by Roman Reigns?
The former UFC heavyweight champion has recently made his professional wrestling debut with the AEW and certainly did not hold back in responding to the remarks made by Reigns. Dos Santos took to Twitter to answer back at the WWE Universal champion and said:
“Hey @WWERomanReigns I heard your interview. Please send the address of this club you will throw me and my little brothers out of #AEW”
Dos Santos has openly called out Reigns and is also seemingly ready to confront him for the same. The Tribal Chief is yet to respond to this tweet and if he does, you can certainly expect more back and forth between the two.
