NWA EmPowerrr got former WWE star Ronda Rousey talking about the PPV
NWA decided to take a different route with their EmPowerrr PPV as the show only consisted of female talents.
WWE had done that in the past but it is always great to see a PPV built around the female performers too.
The great thing about this show was that it featured several names from other promotions such as All Elite Wrestling and Impact Wrestling as well.
Big stars such as Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green, Red Velvet, Kylie Rae, Kamille and a whole host of others were in action while so were many rising stars.
This PPV caught the eyes of many and one of them was former WWE and UFC Champion Ronda Rousey.
Rousey might have been out of action for a few years now,but she gave the thumbs up to this event. She also praised recently released WWE star Chelsea Green for picking up a huge win.
“What a PPV! So worth the money – I honestly would have paid double Congrats @ImChelseaGreen
and all the ladies who put on an amazing show tonight #EMPOWERRR”
Chelsea Green wins big at NWA EmPowerrr PPV
Green was back in action at Impact soon and was one of the participants in the NWA Women’s Invitational Cup Gauntlet.
Green never really got a great chance to shine in WWE after her main event call-up coincided with her breaking her wrist while on SmackDown.
Her husband, Matt Cardona also tweeted a photo of his wife winning the trophy and credit has to be given to Mickie James for pulling off this show.
James is a veteran in the world of women’s wrestling. She spent a few years in WWE among other promotions and this was a great PPV, to say the least.
