Sean O’Malley was looking for another walk off KO but Thomas Almeida wasn’t ready to stop

A lot has been said about Sean O’Malley with many believing he was going to stay undefeated for a long time.

However, his undefeated start to his career ended at UFC 252 as he lost to Marlon Vera. O’Malley was also hampered with a leg injury in that fight but he was back in action at UFC 260.

Sugar was up against Thomas Almeida and O’Malley created another viral moment or he thought he did. The UFC Bantamweight is known for his viral KOs and he keeps looking for them in all his fights.

The walk off KO is something that O’Malley has made a bit of a trademark and he tried to do the same to his rival at UFC.

O’Malley hit Almeida with a beautiful head kick and then hit him with a punch. That sent Almeida down and O’Malley walked away, however, the referee continued the fight as his rival was up again.

Anyone else might have been left a little upset with this but O’Malley kept on going. He dominated the second round and the third saw him get his rival KO.

He had Almeida hurt with another punch and then went for the kill. O’Malley might have landed the hardest KO punch of his career and he finally got the win and celebrated wildly.

A lot had been said about O’Malley after his loss to Vera. However, this was proof that the American isn’t going anywhere.

O’Malley also lauded his rival, Almeida, after the fight for his ability to take hits. It will be interesting to see what is next for O’Malley but the Sugar Show is back in full force.
