In a recent interview with Helen Yee, Sean Strickland embraced a future fight with Marvin Vettori but pokes fun at him.

Fan favourite Sean Strickland in his recent interview with Helen Yee touched upon his willingness to fight Marvin Vettori. He poked fun at the ‘ The Italian Dream’ by calling him ‘Marvina’ multiple times during the interview.

He went on to say that Vettori’s fights with the emotion of a woman, taking subtle digs at the Italian title contender.

Marvin clapped back with his own witty reply and he responded to Strickland.

Vettori wrote:

“Shawna suits you too lol @SStricklandMMA.”

Sean Strickland wants to fight Israel Adesanya for the middleweight title

Sean Strickland is unbeaten in five fights and looks set to be a serious threat in the division. In an interview with ‘The Schmo,’ Strickland expressed his desire to fight middleweight champion Israel Adesanya for the title soon.

He was quoted as saying:

“Izzy f***** starched [Derek] Brunson. Obviously, I want the title fight you know? I’ll bring Izzy a f***** bra. I hope he is f***** cycled off correctly. His f***** titty’s not down to here (pointing to the ground). But, I would like to title fight Izzy. So, do me a favour man, call me out bro. Let’s go anime. (Telling ‘The Schmo’) Anime, f***** gay right?”

Sean has openly been critical of Adesanya’s title run and a win this weekend will cement his position as the title contender.
