Sean Strickland called out ‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul on Twitter
Sean Strickland wants a piece of Jake Paul. The UFC middleweight has called the YouTuber-turned-professional boxer for a big money fight.
Paul, recently beat Tyron Woodley when the pair squared off in a rematch on the 18th of December at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
His knockout was so brutal that it convinced a large part of the combat sports community that he has been taking the sport seriously. However, the general consensus was to see Paul take on a professional boxer or an active MMA fighter.
In the wake of this, UFC middleweight Strickland, took to Twitter to call out Paul for a fight. With a fat paycheck in his mind, Strickland stated that he was ready to fight to the death.
Here is what he had to say:
“@jakepaul you offer me 5 MILLION to fight you, fuck we can fly to a deserted island in international water and fight to the death on YouTube for that kind of money… bareknuckle, gloves, knives, clubs…. lol! Let’s fucking go.. @GamebredFighter.”
Anderson Silva favourite to fight Jake Paul next
UFC legend, and professional boxer Anderson Silva is the favourite to fight Jake Paul. In a recent odds featuring Paul’s possible opponents, ‘Spider’ was a 3 to 1 favourite.
Others in the list were – Tommy Fury, Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal, Mike Tyson, Canelo Alvarez and Deron Williams.
Silva is coming off a first-round knockout win over Tito Ortiz in September, earlier this year.
