Tony Ferguson demands an update on his offer to train Jake Paul

Having recently dabbled in MMA, Jake Paul has, not surprisingly, become a media darling. Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has expressed an interest in preparing the YouTube sensation for his eventual debut in the sport.

Even before his boxing career took off, “The Problem Child” was a well-known figure. Recently, though, he has been all over the press, and his move to the PFL is no exception. The 25-year-old has extensive boxing experience and a powerful right hand, both of which he plans to employ inside the ring.

Paul has proposed that his PFL debut take place against Nate Diaz, a free agent as of late. The online sensation and the UFC legend/veteran have been at each other’s throats for some time now.

The influencer, in a six-fight boxing career, defeated three former mixed martial arts champions .  It’s not just Nate Diaz that Jake Paul has his sights set on; he’s also taken aim at UFC power players like Dana White and Conor McGregor.

Ferguson had earlier offered his help to Jake Paul: “Let me know when you need a good MMA coach Jake Paul. You can be one of my students – Champ”

Since he hasn’t heard back from Paul, Ferguson sent a reminder with the tweet:

Jake Paul reacts to Francis Ngannou’s release from the UFC

Jake Paul, a YouTuber-turned-boxer, claims that Francis Ngannou is still the undisputed heavyweight champion of mixed martial arts (MMA), despite having left the UFC and relinquished his belt.

The hard-hitting heavyweight won the championship in a rematch with legendary champion Stipe Miocic in 2021 and successfully defended it in January 2022 against top contender Ciryl Gane. Unfortunately, he never actually lost the title in the cage, but after a lengthy injury battle and the expiration of his contract, he decided to try free agency and lost the belt.

Though he may not be UFC heavyweight champion, Paul thinks that Ngannou is still the best fighter in the world in the eyes of MMA fans.

“” Francis Ngannou is the baddest man on the planet and is a free agent because he chose to be,” Paul wrote in a tweet yesterday. “He’s the heavyweight champ in MMA and will be until he loses. They are not happy about this. But it’s reality and they have to deal with it. They have to live with that everyday.”
