Brandon Royval put on an excellent shot against Kai Kara-France to win by a fantastic Guillotine choke

Brandon Royval and Kai Kara-France might have fought the best first round of 2020 at UFC 253.

The flyweights went right at it from the first second and both stars were dropped with vicious punches, elbows and knees.

Kara-France was more experienced that Royval in the UFC, however, it was Royval who got the win via an incredible guillotine choke.

The 28-year-old won his fourth fight in a row and his submission win was fantastic. Royval climbed onto his rival and latched in the submission. He then used his weight to bring him down and reworked on his legs to apply more pressure.

Kara-France was in a lot of trouble and he had to tap out in the second round. Royval checked up on his rival and celebrated the win.

UFC stars left impressed by Royval

The commentators were speaking about how great Royval was in the fight and he had a great future in the division.

He is a former LFA Flyweight champion and claimed he had to work on a lot of things as he wasn’t impressed with the win.

However, he is 2-0 in the UFC and this win should take him closer to the title. Royval currently has an MMA record of 12 wins and four losses and has won his last four clashes.
