Stipe Miocic has hefty plans as he plans to fight at a much heavier weight

Miocic was knocked out by a vicious short left hook by Francis Ngannou at UFC 260, as he folded like a chair, relinquishing his heavyweight title in the process.

Not much was spoken about another rematch between Miocic and Ngannou, after Miocic went down like that. However, ‘The Cleveland’s finest’ has revealed that he is still ready for more.

In a recent interview with Pat McAfee in the Pat McAfee show, Miocic spoke about his plans to add around 20 more pounds to fight Ngannou again in a trilogy bout.

He even took to social media to announce the same.

Miocic’s former rival Daniel Cormier addressed this in the latest DC & Helwani Show. Although Cormier claimed that Miocic putting on 20 to 25lbs is a welcome move, he felt that it wouldn’t help him to beat Ngannou, due to the Cameroonian’s superior knockout abilities.

Cormier was quoted as saying:

Cormier wasn’t pleased with Stipe Miocic appearing on the Pat McAfee show.

DC stated that it was high-time Miocic wasted his time appearing on McAfee’s show, also requesting everyone to stay away from it.

DC was quoted as saying:

The one thing I do wish is that, Stipe would stop wasting his time with Pat McAfee. I wish everybody would stop wasting their time with this guy. It’s a massive waste of time. What a rinky-dink show he runs over there.

McAfee currently plies his trade as a commentator on WWE SmackDown alongside veteran commentator Michael Cole.
