Despite being over a month away, the McGregor-Poirier trilogy has got the whole world on tenterhooks. The seasoned UFC lightweights will face off at UFC 264 on the 10th of July, in Las Vegas.

The third fight was agreed in the immediate aftermath, and was later made official three months later.

TMZ Sports caught up with Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone and asked for his prediction for the McGregor-Poirier trilogy bout.

Stallone said that it was a hard one, before going on to contrast the characteristics of McGregor and Poirier.

He said:

“”That’s a tough one man. That’s a real tough one…It’s like who hits first. You got a really hungry, young guy [Poirier] and then a guy who’s made a lot of money but he’s also sorta hungry [McGregor].

Sylvester Stallone feels Dustin Poirier has the big-time advantage

Stallone then went on to give his prediction for the fight. Despite calling it a tough one, the ‘Expendables’ star, claimed that Poirier had a big time advantage to settle the scores in the rivalry.
