T-Bar confirms Retribution will not attack former WWE Champion after glowing praise for Mustafa Ali

T-Bar has assured safety to a couple of WWE Hall of Famers and a third former WWE star seems set to join the list regarding comments on Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali, the leader of Retribution, received a lot of praise from a former WWE Champion, and T-Bar was left impressed.

Christian, who has been featuring regularly on Raw these days, was speaking on the Busted Open podcast and lavished praise on Ali.

Ali was revealed as the leader of the faction a couple of weeks back, and that was met with universal praise. Christian too believed that Ali had a lot of untapped potential and believed the superstar could put on quite a show as the leader.

This is Ali’s redemption arc, of sorts, but T-Bar confirmed that Christian wouldn’t get attacked by Retribution members.

The third one on the list

Two names that Retribution confirmed they wouldn’t attack were Booker T and X-Pac. This wasn’t down to some comments made by the Hall of Famers but rather due to their social media handles and names.

Retribution have been great on Twitter especially thanks to the funny tweets of T-Bar and Mace. However, Ali being the leader of all this does put a nice spin into the narrative. He lost an Elimination Chamber appearance due to an injury and Kofi Kingston grabbed that with both arms.

Kingston then used the platform for an incredible push as he went on to becomes the WWE Champion.

Ali could have been in that position, however, the leader hasn’t forgotten about this at all as he targeted Kingston post the 2020 WWE Draft.

Christian was interested in seeing how the Retribution angle would go but Ali did not make an appearance on this week’s Raw.

Retribution were picked up by Raw in the draft. However, it would have made more sense if they didn’t have an exclusive brand and could attack stars as and when they pleased.
