Many Twitter users caught hold of Talia Santos trying to gain a minor advantage by pulling the hair of Molly McCann

Brazilian UFC star Talia Santos got a huge win over Molly McCann at UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs Ige.

This was the second fight of the main card and it went all the way to the third and final round.

While Santos got the win via a dominant display and she did have the better of her rival, the Brazilian seemed to use some underhand tactics early on in the fight.

As the two women clashed, the referee broke up the pair early in the first round. He had seen some hair grabbing and pulling from Santos and even warned the star from repeating the same.

That didn’t affect her game plan though as she had McCann in some tough positions. Many Twitter users also caught hold of this and reacted to the same

It might have been a bit of a reflex action from Santos and she didn’t repeat this later, but she did deserve the win in the end.

Finally getting the UFC win

Santos finally got a win in the UFC after her loss to Mara Romero Borella more than 18 months back. She featured on Dana White’s contender series and defeated Estefani Almeida to get a great win.

The Brazilian moved to 16-1 in her MMA career, and it will be interesting to see what is next for her. The 27-year-old is another Brazilian female fighter to keep an eye on after Amanda Ribas also impressed at UFC Fight Island.

As for McCann, the British star went to 10-3 after this loss and this also snapped a three-fight win streak for the 30-year-old.
