UFC lightweight prospect Terrance McKinney provides proof that he is the hardest hitter in the division
Terrance McKinney is one of the most exciting talents in the UFC roaster, and sure keeps himself busy on Twitter by laying out his thoughts and opinion.
The lightweight fighter who was on rampant win with a couple of first round finishes, succumbed to his first loss at the hands of Drew Dober. He is currently in training camp preparing for his return on August 6th vs Eric Gonzalez [yet to be confirmed], and visited the UFC Performance Institute ahead of his clash.
He claims that the PI team ran some tests on him that show that he has the strongest hands in the division. McKinney wrote on Twitter, ‘I went to the performance institute last year and they ran all the tests on me, they told me I have the strongest hands in the entire division ✊🏾’
MMA Junkie earlier broke the news that they had two inside sources that confirmed that Terrance McKinney vs Eric Gonzales is a done deal. The promotion is yet to make an official announcement, but this latest tweet from McKinney is a source of confirmation.
McKinney lost his last fight to Drew Dober at UFC Vegas 50 after stepping in as a last-minute replacement, after picking up a submission win over Fares Ziam at UFC Fight Night 202 in February. Although the young fighter had tremendous initial success, he crumbled to the experience and durability of Dober. McKinney landed some powerful punches, knees and elbows almost on the verge of a victory. But Dober maintained his composure to survive the initial onrush and utilized his strength and conditioning to change the course of the fight.
McKinney is keen to bounce back from his setback and remind the world that he should not be counted out as of yet. He reacted to the new on Twitter by saying, ‘ August 6 I’m back ’
