UFC lightweight prospect Terrance McKinney reacted to the latest shocking incident where esteemed comedian Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage
Dave Chappelle was recently attacked on stage by an armed man while performing at L.A.’s Hollywood Bowl. Widely regarded as one of the greatest standup comedian, the creator of the Chappelle show is a polarizing figure in pop culture.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the 23-year-old man pointed a weapon, later determined to be a replica handgun that contained a knife blade, at Chappelle. The suspect, identified as Isaiah Lee of Los Angeles, was arrested and accused of assault with a deadly weapon. Chappelle was not injured during the incident, but the suspect got a handful from Dave’s friends and security personnel as he was stomped on stage.
Following the incident, Lee was transported to the hospital “for medical treatment for injuries” before being taken to the police station and arrested. Lee is being held on a $30,000 bail.
Chappelle’s representative, Carla Sims, said in a statement that “Chappelle is fully cooperating with the active police investigation into this incident.”
Terrance McKinney reacts to the incident and offers his service to Dave Chappelle
UFC lightweight prospect Terrance McKinney was baffled by the incident, much like everyone else. The young fighter is heavily active on social media, and took to Twitter to share his thoughts.
He said, ‘Somebody tell Dave Chapelle to hit me up, I’ll be security for him and I bet nobody will touch him 💪🏾‘
