Being in the news is big for the UFC star and he sent the internet crazy with one photo recently. However, McGregor also posted a video of himself buying his Proper 12 Irish whiskey from a local store in his home country.

McGregor seemed to enjoy chatting up with the workers in the store and they even suggested that the alcohol could be sold out soon.

The Rock is someone who knows how to make a brand outside of his WWE career. The former WWE champion is one of the biggest movie stars now and has done a lot in building his image too.

He too was pleased at seeing McGregor helping local stores and had one great comment too:

“Atta boy! Beautiful brother”.

Conor McGregor not the owner of Proper 12 Whiskey?

McGregor’s future in the whiskey business has been up in the air after some news broke. This week, tequila company Jose Cuervo and its parent company, Becles, had taken over the Proper 12 Whiskey label (h/t Fox Sports).

Details regarding the complete sale of the brand haven’t been shared but there is no doubt McGregor would have been paid a huge sum.

Becles had a 20% stake when the product was launched and there are some great sales numbers too.

McGregor has claimed in the past that his whiskey had sold around $40million in the first financial year and that also helped him become a billionaire.

The Irishman is possibly the richest MMA star in the world. And his business dealings ensure that he keeps in raking the money even if he isn’t the most active star in the Octagon.
