Jim Miller made octagon history at UFC 48 for tied most wins alongside Cowboy Cerrone
Jim Miller has been inside the UFC for as long as we can remember now. The fighting veteran made his octagon debut inside the UFC octagon in early 2008, and is still going strong after spending over two decades in the company.
His UFC 48 bout against Nikolas Motta was his 51st professional fight and 39th fight inside the UFC. Miller defeated Dana White Contender series breakthrough Motta by landing a perfectly timed counter right hook and following up with with a barrage of ground and pound strikes.
Another UFC legend that made his appearance octagon side was former UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib was beyond impressed by the career resurgence that Miller has embarked on even at this age.
He shared an octagon side view of Miller’s post fight interview and quoted the tweet,
“This Guy Is a Legend”
It is beautiful to see the most dominant fighter in the history of the company pay his respect to a fellow veteran who has now secured the tied most wins inside the UFC octagon now, after having fought the who’s who of the roaster.
“I’ll ask Cristiano to stay” says Khabib Nurmagomedov when asked about the Manchester United star’s future
Khabib Nurmagomedov wants his good friend Cristiano Ronaldo to stay at Manchester United amid transfer rumors surrounding the football icon
Rumours were making the round last week suggesting the Portuguese star might very well be on his way out of the club, hardly a year after making the much talked about comeback. The Red Devils are yet to win the domestic league since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club way back in 2013.
Speaking to Sky Sports earlier this week, Khabib said that he shares a very cordial relationship with Cristiano and he always had first-hand news when it came to transfer news about the football star.
He said, “This is not his best age but even now, the way he plays, he affects the team very well,’ Khabib added. ‘His energy, his experience, his advice.”
‘I’m going to talk to him. I remember when he moved from Real Madrid, he told me a couple of months before he moved.
‘When he moved from Juventus, the same. But I never tell the media! I’m going to ask him [about his future at Manchester United], I’m going to ask him.
He distinctly expressed his desire of wanting Cristiano to stay by saying, “Honestly, I want him to stay. Honestly, that’s what I want. If you ask for my opinion, I want him to stay.”
