The coronavirus has already affected millions around the globe and Jon Jones shared his concerns regarding the pandemic.
Several countries have confirmed flight restrictions with many in Italy facing a lock-down too.
Things have also affected several sports events with Dana White confirming that UFC events will go on but without the fans.
Some matches will also be shifted to the UFC Apex centre with the president claiming that the safety of all involved is important.
The US also has been reeling with problems regarding the pandemic, and Jones posted several updates on the same.
However, the champion wasn’t happy with some of the responses from a few fans.
Jones took down a couple who tried to play down the incident and also highlighted some problems being faced in the country.
The champion also hit out at one fan and said that this was more important than fighting in the UFC.
Jones also thanked all those who shared helpful updates and decided to take up a new project too:
While the UFC will continue with their fights, several leagues have decided to suspend their competitions.
The NBA was the first one to do so in America after Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus.
Many European leagues have also decided to call off their leagues for now with the Premier League being the latest one.
Most are expected to return to action after a month, and it will be interesting to see how quickly things get better.
Many cities have also cancelled large events and gatherings with sports events on the list. WWE is also facing such problems and will host its recent episode of SmackDown behind closed doors without fans.
