Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor and Jorge Masvidal had a back and forth on Twitter recently
Jorge Masvidal turned 37 today. Wishes poured in for ‘Gamebred.’
One among those wishes was that of Conor McGregor’s and it was a nasty one. The Irishman took aim at Masvidal for pulling out of his fight against Leon Edwards at UFC 269.
A couple of days ago, the former welterweight title challenger withdrew from the Edwards fight citing injury.
McGregor called for the BMF title being stripped from Masvidal as well, before going to take a shot at the Versace robe he was seen sporting last year.
‘The Notorious tweeted:
“It’s also Jorge masvadal birthday but he a bitch for bottling the fight against Leon. Fuck your “injury” You sign to fight, you fight. Strip that belt from him that he never even won. Hoe in a housecoat. The fuck was that about as well? Last seasons Versace house coat hahaha wtf!”
McGregor’s comments did not sit well with Masvidal. He hit out saying that McGregor was “off his meds”.
“I guess you’re off your meds again barking up the wrong tree and don’t be upset your client was about to be blessed with the biggest pay day of his life and now you don’t get a dime off his whack ass. Too much man for you little guy go back to fighting old dudes in bars.”
McGregor replied:
“Ye, ok sweetheart. Stick the kettle on for me in your little housecoat there. Me and Hans have a meeting about your pity wage today hahahaaha.”
No sooner did McGregor and Masvidal trade jibes, than Twitter erupted. While some sided with ‘Mystic Mac,’ some called for a McGregor-Masvidal bout.
