Jon Jones was arrested on Thursday for DWI by the police

The UFC world was shaken up earlier this week with the arrest of Jon Jones for a misdemeanour.

Things did not go out of control though as no one else was injured in the incident, but this wasn’t the first time Jones has had problems with the law.

He has been arrested several times in the past, and there seems to be a problem with one of the greatest MMA fighters ever.

However, that did not stop some people from taking a shot at the champion. Jon Jones, a namesake of the champion, isn’t associated with the UFC.

However, the verified Twitter account decided to have some fun with the UFC fighter and claimed he had bought some of Jorge Masvidal’s Mezcal brand.

For those not in the know, reports suggested that Jones was caught with half-empty bottles of Masvidal’s Mezcal in the car, and this was a clear dig at the champion.

However, more was to follow from Masvidal’s corner.

Gamebred sets Twitter on fire

Several UFC fans caught hold of this tweet with some believing that this was the real account of the UFC champion.

Masvidal clearly enjoys a joke or two, and he retweeted this post. However, Gamebred is known to thank all fans that buy his brand, “El Recuerdo De Oaxaca Mezcal”.

The UFC star also likes and retweets their messages regarding the brand.

The post had social media split with some taking the side of the poster while others questioned if this was a right move to poke fun at Jones.

However, Jones does have anger issues it seems and hopefully, things improve for the UFC champion soon.
