Tanner Boser made light work of UFC veteran Ovince Saint Preux in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 30
All Canadian, Tanner Boser needed was just two rounds to dispatch the experienced Ovince Saint Preux in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 30.
Boser was a hurt man as he took to the Octagon; he was coming off a controversial loss to Ilir Latifi just 21 days ago. He needed to lay the ghosts of that undeserved loss to rest, and boy did he lay it in style!
There was nothing Saint Preux did in the first round of the fight. Boser kept bulldozing him with a variety of kicks to the body, head and leg. Saint Preux kept waiting, expecting to land a proper shot at the right time. But the time never came.
Going into the second round, OSP tried his best to get back into the fight. He did momentarily get back, as he executed a takedown.
However, just as Boser was escaping the clutches of OSP’s takedown, both had a clash of heads, which many believe could have made OSP groggy.
Boser then followed it up with a flurry of punches to finish the fight.
Here is how Twitter reacted to the Canadian’s victory:
Prior to the fight, Boser had revealed that he had not undergone any training for the fight against Ovince Saint Preux, due to the lockdown restrictions.
Following his loss against Latifi, earlier this month, Boser had to not leave his hotel due to the quarantine rules. So, all the Canadian did was pushups and lifting a pair of dumbbells for the last couple of weeks.
However, it never really reflected in the fight, since he put on an absolute clinic against Saint Preux.
