Tyron Woodley wants to teach YouTuber-turned-Boxer Jake Paul a lesson
Jake Paul has been in the limelight ever since he went 2-0 up in his professional boxing career. The YouTuber defeated Nate Robinson in November 2020, via. a vicious KO.
It all started there, as Paul began disrespecting and calling out every combat sports athlete there is on social media. His primary targets then were, Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis (who still is).
Paul brimming with confidence, then took on Ben Askren in April 2021. This was the first time he was going up against a combat sports athlete. And, to everyone’s surprise Paul knocked Askren out in the very first round.
He had a backstage beef with the now-released UFC welterweight Tyron Woodley after the fight. Woodley even called Paul out for a fight, but the YouTuber kept ducking him.
More recently, Woodley appeared in an interview with TMZ Sports, tearing into Paul, and expressing his desire to fight him anytime, anywhere.
This is what Woodley said in his violent callout:
“Come and get this smoke for real…I’m in and I can actually find him. People that keep talking about fighting him, they’re not even in a position to fight him. I can actually fight him. I can fight him tomorrow if I want to.”
After Ben Askren got knocked out, Woodley who belonged to Askren’s team got into an altercation with Paul, and his trainer J’Leon Love who is also a professional boxer.
Woodley was livid because of the way he was disrespected, and so were a lot of members of the MMA community.
Daniel Cormier, especially, was pretty vocal about it, which led to his infamous run-in with Paul at UFC 261.
Woodley is down for whatever, but will Paul respond?
