Longest face-off in Boxing history? – Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder have their first pre-fight presser ahead of trilogy bout

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3 will take place on the 24th of July in Las Vegas

‘Will Deontay Wilder get third time lucky’, is the question in everyone’s minds. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ failed to stop Tyson Fury in his first fight against the Mancunian, as the fight ended in a draw.

The next time, an over-confident Wilder stepped in with the intent of knocking out ‘The Gypsy King’, but he was brutalized badly and was TKOed after his corner threw in the towel in the 7th round.

Following an ‘arbitrator rule’ which stated that Fury must face Wilder in a trilogy bout before September 2021, a third fight was agreed.

It is set to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, on the 24th of July.

More recently, the pre-fight press-conference for the fight just concluded, and it had Fury and Wilder involved in one of the most epic and bizarre face-offs in boxing history.

Wilder was almost silent throughout the whole duration of the press-conference. However, his rival, Fury took numerous shots at ‘The Bronze Bomber’.

Fury revealed that he would give away his game plan once again, just like he had given it away the last time. And, he assured that he would finish Wilder earlier than he had finished him the last time (7th round).

“I gave my game plan away the last time because he wasn’t good enough to do anything about it. I’ll do the same thing this time. Wilder is a one-trick pony. What I’ll do this time? – I’ll run him over like I’m an 18-wheeler. I guarantee he does not go past where he did before.
