The payouts for the recently concluded UFC 263 were just released
UFC 263 was a big hit. The event took place at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The main card featured three high-voltage clashes.
A middleweight title clash between Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori headlined the event. Izzy came up trumps with a unanimous decision victory over the Italian.
In the co-main event Deiveson Figueiredo’s quest in defending his flyweight title ended in a failure as an inspired Brandon Moreno won via. third round submission.
The event also marked the return of Nate Diaz in a five-round non-title fight (first in the history of UFC). A spirited Diaz went down fighting against the Brit, losing via. unanimous decision.
Demian Maia vs Belal Muhammad and Jamahal Hill vs Paul Craig were the other fights in the main card.
The UFC 263 disclosed payouts were released recently. For his win over Vettori, Adesanya took home a whopping $500,000 (no win bonus). Vettori, on the other hand, walked away with $350,000.
Moreno made $200,000 (including $100,000 as win bonus), while Figueiredo made $210,000 despite losing the fight.
‘The Stockton Slugger’ pocketed an impressive $250,000, which was the third highest on the card. Edwards on the other hand, made $220,000.
The disclosed earnings do not include PPV bonuses.
The other fights in the main card saw Demian Maia lose to Belal Muhammad via. unanimous decision.
The veteran took home $175,000 that night – $15,000 more than Muhammad who was the winner.
In the first fight of the main card, Scotsman Paul Craig dispatched Jamahal Hill in a minute, with a stunning first-round TKO win. He earned $110,000 ($55,000 win bonus), while Hill made $28,000.
