Khabib Nurmagomedov’s brother Umar Nurmagomedov will return to action next year in a fight against Jack Shore
Umar Nurmagomedov will face Jack Shore next on the 19th of March. The brother of legendary UFC lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov made his UFC debut on the 20th of March, 2021.
Umar faced Sergey Morozov on debut and started off with a second-round submission. That was his 13th win in his MMA career.
Yesterday, it was confirmed that Umar will face Welshman Jack Shore in March, next year. The fight will go ahead as a bantamweight bout. Alex Behunin of Cageside Press was one of the earliest to report the same.
UFC Fight Night 205 will be the event hosting the same. The venue and location have not been decided yet.
Just like his famous brother, Umar is undefeated in his career. He made his debut in December 2016, and quickly made his way up, taking part in notable promotions like PFL and GFC.
Someone will have to lose their 0, come the 19th of March, 2022. Jack Shore is 15-0 up in his MMA career.
The Welshman made his MMA debut on the 5th of March, 2016. He became the Cage Warriors FC Bantamweight Champion in December 2018.
Shore made his UFC debut on the 28th of September, 2019 at UFC Fight Night: Hermansson vs Cannonier, and started off with a Performance of the Night win over Nohelin Hernandez.
He is now 4-0 in the UFC.
