Bruce Buffer bent down on one knee during the introduction of Anderson Silva in his clash against Uriah Hall

Bruce Buffer is the voice of the Octagon and the 63-year-old produces some of the best introductions in all of the fight game.

The American has a very distinct style of calling out the UFC stars, but he often reserves some special moves for the top names.

Buffer has his 180 and 360 turns but brought out something different ahead of Anderson Silva vs Uriah Hall.

Silva is a legend in the sport of MMA and even though he is 45, the Spider is still going. Silva is also a former UFC Middleweight champion and held the title for an incredible 2457 consecutive days.

Buffer, while introducing the Spider, came down on one knee as a mark of respect to Silva. Helen Yee was there to capture the incredible video and shared it on her Twitter account:

Silva has the respect of most of the UFC athletes and even current Middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, was present at the Apex to see the legend in action.

Not the best outing for Silva

While Silva is a legend of the game, his powers are waning. There were talks of this being his last fight in the UFC and Hall got the better of the 45-year-old.

Silva was knocked out in the fourth round, and there was an emotional moment towards the end. Hall and Silva were both almost in tears and it will be interesting to see what happens next with the Brazilian.

Dana White was speaking after the fight and thought he had allowed the Brazilian to fight for too long. He also hoped that Silva’s family would be able to get him to retire after another loss.

Silva will still go down as one of the greatest MMA athletes of all time. White added that he always had respect for the Spider and this could have been his last UFC fight.
