UFC Brasilia featured an incredibly funny moment between Damir Hadzovic and Renato Moicano after their fight

UFC Brasilia took place with no fans in the stadium due to the coronavirus but there still was time for some fun between Damir Hadzovic and Renato Moicano.

This was one of the fights on the main card but was ended in 44 seconds. Hadzovic tapped out to Moicano in the first round itself and the pair had a fun exchange during the post-match interviews.

Moicano says he wanted to fight more and didn’t want the match to end so quickly, and Hadzovic quickly responded:

“Then you shouldn’t have submitted me.”

There were a few chuckles in the arena from the staff, but Hadzovic was open for a rematch and wanted to take on the Brazilian at Copenhagen.

Hadzovic and Moicano claimed they respected each other, and it will be interesting to see if they face off any time soon.

The quickest fight of the night

This was the quickest fight of the night and the fans would have loved seeing the home-town star win the clash so easily.

This was Hadzovic’s second straight loss and the 33-year-old now holds a 13-6 record in his MMA career.

Moicano, for his part, broke a two-match losing streak and moved to 14 and 3 in his MMA career.

The 30-year-old had lost to the Korean Zombie Chan Sung Jung in his previous fight, and hopefully, he can string a few wins together.

UFC Brasilia was a weird event with no fans in the arena, but this is the step that the promotion has taken.

Many other MMA promotions have cancelled events for now, but Dana White confirmed that the UFC is pressing on with its commitments.

There could be fans at UFC London later this month, but that depends on any advisory given by government authorities.
