Dusko Todorovic remained undefeated after this win but Dequan Townsend took some brutal shots from the Serbian

Rising MMA star Dusko Todorovic put on a show against Dequan Townsend at Fight Night: Holm vs Aldana.

The 26-year-old Todorovic came into this fight with a 9-0 record and this was his UFC debut. The Serbian won his last fight on the Contender Series against Teddy Ash but this was a more dominant win.

Todorovic dominated from the mid-point of the first round and started unloading shots on his rival. There was one moment during the final minute of the round where he kept punching Townsend in his face but the American not only survived but stayed standing, which left many impressed.

However, Townsend couldn’t do much in the end as he was defeated in the second round.

Power punches Todorovic though

The second round started off just like the first and the fight ended with a vicious ground and pound. The power in Todorovic’s punches was also there for all to see, and Townsend certainly felt the after-effects of some shots.

The Serbian now moves to 10-0 in his MMA career and he does seem to be a star in the making.

Townsend was a tough opponent for the 26-year-old but the American has now lost his last four fights.

In fact, the 34-year-old is yet to win in his UFC career and he came with a 21-8 record before joining the promotion.

It will be interesting to see what is next for Todorovic. He does seem to have it all and the UFC could have found another name to push.

We have seen Khamzat Chimaev get a lot of attention since making his UFC debut, and Todorovic could get the same treatment too.
