Edson Barboza and Shane Burgos put on quite a show but the delayed KO was something else
Edson Barboza and Shane Burgos was going to be quite a fight to start off the UFC 262 main card.
The two Featherweights certainly put on a show as they went hammer and tongs at each other from the first second of the fight.
UFC 262 certainly had some great moments on the card and this fight also produced something special. Burgos was landing some heavy blows on Barboza. The Brazilian, for his part, used a ton of kicks to hurt Burgos early on in the fight.
Both stars were giving it their all and the third round saw the crowd stand up on its feet before the pair clashed.
Barboza then used a couple of punches and connected well to his opponent. However, what was seen next was something incredible.
Burgos didn’t wobble after the second punch and then slowly he started going back to the cage. He was out before he even hit the cage and Barboza came in to finish the job.
Some went on to say that the shots at the end were unnecessary. This was possibly the greatest delayed KO in the history of the UFC and everyone was left confused as to what had happened.
