Boxing coach Teddy Atlas was impressed by the hard work put in by Francis Ngannou
UFC star Francis Ngannou might be known for his incredible power in the Octagon but the French-Cameroonian star is also doing his bit to improve his boxing skills.
The 34-year-old is on a four-fight win streak and many believe he will be next to face UFC Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
The other star he could face is former Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones, but Ngannou is working harder than ever.
Teddy Atlas is one of the greatest boxing coaches of all-time, and the American took some time out to train Ngannou on how to get the most out of his punches:
As suspected, not only big and powerful, but decent and smart. All the combinations to be a Champion. 馃憡 @francisngannou @Eric_XCMMA @Marquel_Martin #bang馃挜 pic.twitter.com/INTuwzY0QE

Atlas had some great words for the 34-year-old and believed he had the abilities to become a future champion.
Preparing for a crack at the gold
Ngannou also thanked Atlas for sharing some of his boxing knowledge and wanted to spar further in the future.
Thank you for sharing a bit of your knowledge with me last night @TeddyAtlasReal 馃 let鈥檚 get some more rounds in again soon 馃挭馃嚚馃嚥 pic.twitter.com/HBGdrbtvcU

The Predator, as Ngannou is called, had a crack at the Heavyweight title in 2018. However, he lost that chance to Miocic who picked up a unanimous win at UFC 220.
This was only the second loss of his career back then and Ngannou went on to lose his next fight too. That came against Derrick Lewis, however, he has turned his fortunes around and looks to be in the shape of his life.
His last four wins have all been either TKOs or knockouts and none of those fights have not gone beyond 70 seconds of the first round.
His last win was over Jairzinho Rozenstruik and it will be interesting to see when he is back in the Octagon.
Miocic deserves a bit of a break after his tough battle against Daniel Cormier. However, the champion has to be wary of a charged up Ngannou too.
