(Watch) Francis Ngannou tries to take some credit after viral Dan Ige KO of Gavin Tucker

Dan Ige lived up to his 50K name with a great KO of Gavin Tucker

Dan Ige produced an incredible KO in his fight against Gavin Tucker. This was Ige’s first clash since a humbling vs Calvin Kattar but 50K lived up to his name in this outing.

Ige needed just 22 seconds to knockout his rival and that got a lot of people talking. This UFC event had several great finishes but Ige’s was one of the best of the year.

The commentators were left ecstatic after the punch from Ige as the UFC star just walked away nonchalantly.

Ige certainly impressed many, including Dana White, as he got the Performance of the Night bonus and an extra $50,000 for the KO.

However, one star tried to take some credit for the power that Ige produced for the KO. Francis Ngannou is one of the hardest hitters in the UFC and posted a training video of him and Ige.

Ngannou was padded up as he took a few punches from 50K. This isn’t the first time Ngannou has taken some hits from another MMA star and it seems to be helping a few of them out:

Francis Ngannou dreaming of something big

While Ige moved up to 15-3, he is still some way from getting a title shot. The loss to Kattar stopped his momentum but this performance could be a platform for something great from the 29-year-old.

Ngannou, however, has some big things on his mind. The powerhouse is to face Stipe Miocic for the UFC Heavyweight title at UFC 260.

Ngannou lost his previous meeting with the champion in 2018. However, he has grown a lot in recent years and seems ready to become a champion for the first time in the UFC.

Miocic, for his part, is considered as one of the greatest Heavyweights of all-time. He defeated Daniel Cormier in his previous fight and does have the experience advantage over Ngannou.
