Holly Holm is a former UFC Bantamweight champion but she had a tough time surfing recently

Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm posted several videos of her surfing with a few friends recently.

The 39-year-old had her last fight a few weeks back where she dominate Irene Aldana. Many were impressed by the MMA veteran’s abilities in the Octagon and Holm showed off some of her form which led her to become a champion.

She is on a two-fight win streak but took some time off to have fun. The American tried her hand at surfing but not at a beach. This was one of those automated machines that create the waves, and the first video from Holm shows how great she is in this sport.

However, the last two slides showed how difficult it was for Holm to get her surfing skills on. The former champion still saw the funny side of things and looked great in some of the clips.

The last two videos from her post could be considered as bloopers but that is expected given that learning surfing isn’t all that easy.

Another title shot for Holm?

The 39-year-old created history by defeating Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 to win the Bantamweight gold. This came as a shock as Rousey was undefeated at the time but so was Holm. However, not many gave her a chance against Rowdy Rousey.

Holm might have won the title back then but she lost it in her next fight. The American then lost two more before ending her slide with a win over Bethe Correia.

She was given another crack at Bantamweight gold by taking on Amanda Nunes at UFC 239. However, Nunes retained her crown while Holm has won her next two fights.

The Preacher’s Daughter seems to be in top shape again and could get another crack at Nunes’ gold. It will be interesting to see if that happens since Nunes seems unbeatable now.
