Israel Adesanya’s head coach Eugene Bareman and teammates pull out a hilarious prank on the middleweight champion
City Kickboxing Team is a tight-knit family, and are often seen fighting on the same cards and travelling together. Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volaknovski are all set to defend their titles at UFC 276 this weekend against Jared Cannonier and Max Holloway respectively.
The entire team is staying at a mansion seclusively away from the usual hotel accommodations provided to the fighters. Adesanya’s Youtube channel is one of the most revered fighter channels there is today. In the latest episode, he was seen visiting the UFC Performance Institute, and met Francis Ngannou the reigning heavyweight champion, and one-third of the esteemed ‘3 African lions’.
In the first instalment of the UFC Embedded Series, Adesanya’s head coach Eugene and teammates were seen pranking Adesanya. They lured Adesanya into an empty room suggesting that there’s a stripper inside. Adesanya opened the door to a horrifying looking figure that terrified him. The reaction was pure gold.
‘Ban condoms’ – Israel Adesanya reacts to US Supreme Court killing abortion rights
The Supreme Court of the United States of America passed the most stringent anti-abortion law in their history earlier today. The court ended the right to abortion in a tremorous ruling that pulverizes half a century of constitutional protections on one of the most divisive and bitterly fought issues in American political life.
The court dominated by conservative mindset, overturned the landmark 1973 “Roe v Wade” decision that empowered a woman’s right to an abortion, saying that individual states can now permit or restrict the procedure themselves.
“The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives,” the court said.
“The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion,” he said.
This preposterous ruling will lead to a series of stringent new laws being drafted in roughly half of the 50 US states that will severely restrict or outright ban and criminalize abortions, forcing women to travel long distances to states that still permit the procedure.
The opinion shredded the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling by the nation’s highest court that said women had the right to abortion based on the constitutional right to privacy over their own bodies.
This victory for the religious right was met with some serious resistance, as people poured onto the streets in numbers to protest. Many have viewed this ruling as turning back the clock to 50 pus years and inhuman.
The ‘Last Stylebender’ is all set to fight for his fifth title defense against Jared Cannonier at UFC 276.
Israel Adesanya is not known to mince words while speaking his mind, and has expressed his agitation with his home government in the past. He sticks out his opinion on things that matter.
He reacted to the news on Twitter by saying, ‘Ban condoms then…’
