Rafael Fiziev became Neo inside the Octagon and stunned many watching the UFC Fight Night clash

UFC Fight Night 172 had a huge title clash between Deiveson Figueiredo and Joseph Benavidez. However, the other fights on the main card were incredibly entertaining too.

One of them saw Rafael Fiziev take on Marc Diakiese in a Lightweight clash. The fight went all the way as both stars threw everything they had in them to get the win. In the end, it was Fiziev who won via unanimous decision and the 27-year-old had a couple of brilliant moments which were defensive in nature.

The Kyrgyzstan star seems to be watching a lot of Matrix movies as he pulled off an unbelievable dodge as his opponent launched a kick.

He resembled Neo from the movies as Keanu Reeves’ character bent crazily to avoid some bullets. Fiziev pulled off this move twice in the fight, and he should now be called Neo inside the Octagon.

Not a new move for Fiziev

While many UFC fans might have been impressed by this move by the 27-year-old. It isn’t the first time Fiziev has done something like this on the grand stage.

He fought in other promotions before coming to the UFC and Phuket Top Team had more content of “Neo” doing his thing in 2017.

Fiziev avoided another head kick back in 2017 in impressive fashion. However, the referee decided to step in between the two stars for some reason.

Nevertheless, this was one of the best moments from the UFC card, and it will be interesting to see what is next for the 27-year-old.

Fiziev is now 8-1 in his MMA career, and he still has his best years ahead of him. He is called “Ataman” inside the Octagon but it might be time to give him a new name.
