(Watch) Roman Dolidze hilariously asks coach if he should submit John Allan in the middle of round

Roman Dolidze was having fun against John Allan in this UFC outing

UFC Vegas 16 had some incredible finishes with slams, punches and kicks throughout the card.

While Roman Dolidze didn’t get a finish, he did put on one of the best performances of the evening.

The Georgian picked up another win and remained undefeated in his MMA career. He dominated John Allan but also had some fun during the fight.

Dolidze was standing with his rival on his back. However, he went on to ask his coach if he should try and get Allan to submit.

His coach goes on to say yes and quick as a flash, Dolidze, moves down for the kill and tries to get a heel hook.

While Dolidze was unable to do that, this was still a hilarious moment. It would have been a problem for Allan too since Dolidze has a history of picking up wins via submission.

Controversy in the result

While Dolidze got the win in the end, there was some concern when the results were being announced.

Chris Lee, a UFC judge, scored the fight in the favour of Allan. That got a lot of people talking and there was some concern that the fight might not go his way.

Lee has made such decisions in the past too but it was still a split decision win for Dolidze. The Georgian is one of the most impressive stars in the UFC at the moment and it will be interesting to see what is next for him.

It takes some guts to call out the coach in the middle of a round but it all worked out for the best.
