Talia Santos got an impressive win over Molly McCann at UFC Fight night: Kattar vs Ige

The UFC might be known for some crazy fights and destruction in the Octagon but most fighters have a lot of respect for each other.

That was on show in the Molly McCann and Talia Santos fight. The pair shared a moment of respect after the fight in the Octagon and did the same later on too.

A clip showed that both rivals took time to pose for photos and then hugged it out. This was just proof that the UFC isn’t just about beating your opponent down, it is more than that.

McCann, however, was unable to get the win over the rising Brazilian star. Santos was excellent in the clash and picked up the win via unanimous decision.

Getting the first UFC win

Santos had lost her first clash in the UFC but that was close to 18 months ago. She seemed to have scouted McCann well and was dominant throughout.

The Brazilian moved to 16-1 in her MMA career and will be looking to push on. There was one hairy moment in this clash where she seemed to grab McCann’s hair and the referee warned her. However, Santos was just happy to get the first UFC win after a disappointing loss in her debut.

The Brazilian had seen three fights get cancelled after her debut clash due to various reasons. But now, she has the monkey off her back and will be planning for more wins in the UFC.
