Valentina and Antonina Shevchenko will be fighting on the same card with UFC 255 this weekend
Valentina and Antonina Shevchenko will create history at UFC 255 by becoming the first pair of sisters to fight on the same UFC card.
The Shevchenko’s are stars in their own right with Valentina being the Flyweight champion and both having won several titles in other MMA forms.
Antonina might not be a UFC champion but she has a tough clash against the rising Ariane Lipski. Valentina takes on Jennifer Maia in what will be her fourth title defence. The Bullet has been incredible since lifting the title and the sisters seem set to cause havoc in the UFC.
Valentina and Antonina had spoken earlier about being on the same card and how great it was for them. The pair claimed that training together was helpful to both as normally one would train for a fight and the other would support them.
A video was recently released of the pair attacking in synchronized fashion. They had also done the same during UFC 238, but they weren’t on the same card.

Shevchenkos get more gold at home
This week has already started off well for the Shevchenko household. Elena, the mother of the Shevchenko sisters, recently won gold in a Muay Thai shadow boxing competition and the UFC stars were extremely pleased with all this.
Elena was the reason why the sisters took up MMA and it is great to see mother Shevchenko also stay fit and win titles.
Valentina will go down as one of the greatest female fighters of all-time. However, she is still keen on fighting Amanda Nunes for the third time.
Nunes is another MMA legend and is the only star to have defeated Shevchenko in the UFC. She has lost twice to the Lion but things could change after a win over Jennifer Maia at the weekend.
