Valerie Loureda was extremely happy with a new Bellator contract and danced away in risqué fashion
Valerie Loureda confirmed she was staying with Bellator for a while after signing a new contract with the MMA promotion.
The 22-year-old Flyweight is currently 3-0 in her professional MMA career. However, she posted a video of her celebrating the new deal.
Loureda confirmed that the deal was a multi-year one and featured multiple fights for her. The American is known for her dancing celebrations after wins in the Octagon, and she took it to another level with this one.
The 22-year-old started off with a few punches and kicks but things took a different turn just a few seconds later.
Loureda was seen doing some questionable movements on the floor and that caught the interest of many fans.
However, the 22-year-old is one of the brightest talents in women’s MMA and she can be given a bit of leeway after securing a huge deal.
She was also pleased with staying at Bellator and claimed she wasn’t going anywhere.
The 22-year-old was 1-1 in her amateur MMA career but has taken Bellator by storm. She has defeated all three of her opponents so far and two of wins have come via stoppages.
The youngster does have a long career ahead of her and she is one of the most interesting characters on Bellator.
It will be interesting to see who her next rival is. Loureda defeated Tara Graff in her last outing which came at Bellator 243.
Ilima-Lei Macfarlane is the current Flyweight champion in the division and is 11-0 in her MMA career. She is the inaugural Bellator Flyweight women’s champion and has defended the title four times already on the promotion.
Laureda could be in the hunt for the title soon but she needs a few more wins before that can be set up.
