Themba Gorimbo was gifted a house by The Rock, and he made a hilarious Sadio Mane mistake 

African MMA star Themba Gorimbo became one of the most significant talking points last month when he confirmed he only had $7 after his first UFC win.

The Zimbabwean had sent all of his money to build a well in his village and was left without much in his bank account.

However, WWE superstar, The Rock was quick to sort the MMA star out. He decided to gift Gorimbo a new house after recalling his struggles before he became a huge WWE and movie star.

While Gorimbo could not believe what happened when The Rock handed over the house keys, there was one funny moment in the video.

Gorimbo was taking a look around and saw a picture or two on a table. The picture seemed to be a little far and he thought this was an image of Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane.

However, walking up close to it, he finally got to see that this was a picture of his family with him, and his reaction was priceless. 

What did Themba Gorimbo say about Sadio Mane?

Mane, who made a name for himself for the Senegal national side and Liverpool FC, recently moved to Saudi Arabia.

He had spent one season at Bayern Munich before following the likes of Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Roberto Firmino to Saudi Arabia.

Mane is known for working hard and being selfless. The Senegal star has built a lot for his village, and there have been reports that he even sends money monthly to all families in his village.

Mane also spoke about a lot of the hardships he had to undertake before reaching the top. Mane’s humble nature has been the talk of the footballing world for a while, and Gorimbo also brought this up in an Instagram post.

The UFC star claimed that he wanted to be like Mane, and well he did do that by helping build a well in his village.

Gorimbo had lost his UFC debut to AJ Fletcher but picked up a win against Takashi Sato in May, 2023.
