The latest UFC event is set to take place in London, with the promotion returning to the English capital after three years.
This weekend, UFC action will shift to the O2 Arena in London, England, for UFC London. This year’s UFC London will be the first international card since “Fight Island” and promises some high-octane action in the Octagon.
However, the UFC is hosting its event in London for the first time in three years. The gap was primarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The last time the UFC held an event in London was back on March 16th, 2019. The main headliner event on that card was the welterweight bout between Jorge Masvidal and Darren Till.
‘Gamebred’ managed to KO English fighter Till in the second round that night. Despite their local fighter suffering defeat at the hands of Masvidal, the O2 Arena was bouncing. The atmosphere was electric and it should be another full stadium this weekend.
