“Obsessed with him”, “Just fight him” – UFC fans slam Jon Jones for his “real as*****” comments aimed at Israel Adesanya

Jon Jones still has Israel Adesanya in his head and won’t let him go

Jon Jones took time out, again, to slam Israel Adesanya over some comments the Middleweight star made a few days back.

Izzy claimed that his fight with Jones isn’t over, despite the loss to Jan Blachowicz. Adesanya had the chance to become a two-division champion but was handed his first ever MMA defeat.

Adesanya remains the Middleweight champion and Jones believed that the chances of him fighting the Kiwi was all but over after the Blachowicz loss.

However, Adesanya wasn’t done and claimed this was more than fighting regarding his rivalry with Jones.

Bones, who is moving up a weight class to win the Heavyweight gold and become a two division champion himself lashed into Izzy yesterday.

However, Jones wasn’t done with him yet and launched into Izzy again.

Jones then called Adesanya an “a******” when a fan told him to leave it, but apparently, the former Light Heavyweight champion was having too much fun attacking the Middleweight champion.

Fans unhappy with Jon Jones again targetting Israel Adesanya

This isn’t to say that Adesanya hasn’t hit out at Jones in the past. The two have a heated rivalry and even though they are in different divisions, they do seem to be on a collision course.

Both stars have different targets right now. Adesanya has confirmed he would be going back down to the Middleweight division and defend his title.

He hasn’t ruled out a return to the Light Heavyweight division, though. Jones, for his part, has the Heavyweight title on his mind.

No one was able to take the Light Heavyweight title off him and Bones vacated the gold to move up a division.

He is expected to fight the winner of Stipe Miocic, the champion, and Francis Ngannou. The pair meet at UFC 260 and this is going to be quite a battle.

However, many fans weren’t all that pleased with Jones’ recent comments on Adesanya and claimed the former LHW champion was obsessed with Izzy.
