UFC Vegas 41: Take a look at the results and the ones who received bonuses

The UFC Vegas 41 was the final event before the highly anticipated UFC 267 and promised to give fans an exciting event. The event was built around two former number one middleweight title contenders, Marvin Vettori and Paulo Costa. The build up to this fight was also quite interesting.

Costa was unable to cut weight on time and the fight had to moved to a different division twice just days before the fight. Vettori stepped up to everything that was brought up to him and also did not back down. The card had 14 fights in total divided between Prelims and also the Main Card. With that being said let’s take a look at all the results and bonus winners from the UFC Vegas 41.

• Jeff Molina defeated Daniel da Silva via TKO (strikes)
• Jai Herbert defeated Khama Worthy via TKO (strikes)
• Jamie Pickett defeated Laureano Staropoli via unanimous decision
• Tabatha Ricci defeated Maria Oliveira via unanimous decision
• Mason Jones defeated David Onama via unanimous decision
• Gregory Rodrigues defeated Junyong Park via knockout (punches)

Main Card

• Nicolae Negumereanu defeated Ike Villanueva via TKO (punches)
• Francisco Trinaldo defeated Dwight Grant via split decision
• Alex Caceres defeated Seungwoo Choi via submission (rear-naked choke)
• Jessica-Rose Clark defeated Joselyne Edwards via unanimous decision
• Grant Dawson vs. Ricky Glenn declared a majority draw
• Marvin Vettori defeated Paulo Costa via unanimous decision

UFC Vegas 41 Bonus Winners

As usual, UFC handed out four bonuses after the event. Two performance of the night and also one fight of the night to both fighters from that fight. Every bonus was again, as usual, worth $50,000.

The first performance of the night bonus went to Alex Caceres. Caceres has been on a really impressive run in the UFC lately. He won his fifth straight fight against Seungwoo Choi. Caceres submitted Choi with a rear naked choke in the second round to make him tap out.

The second performance of the night went to Marvin Vettori. His fight with Costa was a truly remarkable one. After so much drama heading into the fight both fighters certainly pulled off arguably the best fight of the night. However, the fight was not given ‘fight of the night’ bonus because of unprofessional behavior shown by Costa heading into the fight. Vettori earned a unanimous decision victory after five hard fought rounds in the octagon.

The fight of the night bonus went to Gregory Rodrigues vs Junyong Park, Both fighters put on a very explosive fight. Both fighters were also going at it with full speed, however, it was Rodriguez who had the last laugh. Rodriguez was pressuring his opponent throughout and also eventually earned a second round knockout victory.
