UFC Vegas 45: Take a look at the results and also the ones who received the bonus
The last UFC event of 2021 just concluded. UFC Vegas 45, headlined by a heavyweight clash between Derrick Lewis and Chris Daukaus didn’t disappoint.
Out of the 6 fights in the main card, only 2 went to decision, the rest were knockouts. Lewis wasted no time in finishing Daukaus, who had never lost before in the UFC. The ‘Black Beast’ knocked him out in the first round to break the UFC record for the most knockouts (13).
In the co-main event, Belal Muhammad continued his unbeaten run with a unanimous decision win over supreme striker Stephen Thompson. Muhammad brought his grappling skills to the fore, not giving Thompson even a moment to get a foothold in the fight.
Amanda Lemos prevailed over Angela Hill by means of a narrow split decision. Ricky Simon saw off Raphael Assuncao in the second round with a brutal KO.
Mateusz Gamrot continued his dominant run with a TKO win over Carlos Diego Ferreira.
It was old-timer Cub Swanson who kicked things off in the main card with a first-round knockout win over Darren Elkins in a featherweight scrap.
