Ahead of UFC Vegas 64, we take a look at the odds, and predictions for the main card
This weekend, the UFC returns to the APEX facility with a main event that might be crucial for the strawweight division. Brazilians Marina Rodriguez and Amanda Lemos, both of whom are coming off significant victories, are scheduled to square off; the winner, who will weigh 115 pounds, is likely to enter the title race. Daniel Rodriguez and octagon veteran Neil Magny square off in the co-main event.
Chase Sherman vs Josh Parisian at heavyweight and Tagir Ulanbekov vs. Nate Maness at flyweight are two more matches on the UFC Vegas 64 main card. At lightweight, Grant Dawson takes on Mark O. Madsen.
The featherweight matchups on the preliminary card pit Darrick Minner against Shayilan Nuerdanbieke, the women’s flyweight matchup pits Miranda Maverick against Shanna Young and Mario Bautista will fight Benito Lopez in a featured bout.
At UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Anders on September 22, 2018, Marina Rodriguez faced Randa Markos in her UFC debut. She won the fight by majority decision.
On March 30, 2019, at UFC on ESPN, she competed against Jessica Aguilar. She received a unanimous decision victory.
On August 10, 2019, Rodriguez and Tecia Torres squared off on UFC on ESPN+ 14. She received a unanimous decision victory.
On December 7, 2019, at UFC on ESPN 7, Rodriguez took on Cynthia Calvillo, who had taken Cláudia Gadelha’s place due to injury. The battle came to a finish with a majority draw after three rounds.
At UFC 257, Rodriguez fought Amanda Ribas on January 24, 2021. In the second round, Rodriguez successfully knocked out her opponent. She won the Performance of the Night prize thanks to this triumph.
On May 8, 2021, at UFC on ESPN 24, Rodriguez faced Michelle Waterson in a flyweight match as the opening contest of her new, multi-fight contract. She received a unanimous decision victory.

Lemos made her promotional debut against Leslie Smith at UFC Fight Night: Nelson vs. Ponzinibbio on July 16, 2017, filling in for the injured Lina Länsberg on short notice. She was knocked out in the second round of the lopsided battle.
The USADA suspended Lemos for two years on March 28, 2018, as a result of Lemos testing positive for stanozolol and its metabolite in a sample from November 8, 2017, according to news reports.
On December 21, 2019, at UFC Fight Night 165, Lemos was slated to make his comeback from the ban against Veronica Macedo in a strawweight match. Miranda Granger took Macedo’s place after she withdrew from the fight due to concussion-like symptoms. She won the fight by submission.
On July 16, 2022, Lemos and Michelle Waterson squared off on UFC on ABC 3. She won the fight by submission. Lemos received her first Performance of the Night Bonus Award thanks to this victory.
Odds: Rodriguez (Favorite) -210 | Lemos (Underdog) +175
Prediction: Rodriguez has been consistent in recent times roping victories against notable names like Yan Xiaonan, Amanda Ribas and Mackenzie Dern. She is on a four-fight win streak. On the other hand, Lemos has seven victories in his last nine fights. Six of those victories have come by finishes. With that in mind, we give the slight edge to Lemos considering the killer instinct that she fights with every single time she steps into the octagon.
