Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves – 10 Things You Should Know

Published by

Uncharted Legacy of Thieves has been released and here are 10 things that you should know along with the minimum system requirements.

Initially released in 2016 and 2017, Uncharted: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is included in the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection, which remastered both games. In comparison to the PlayStation 5 release, this game features higher shadow resolution, anisotropic filtering, and a Level of Detail (LoD). There are lots of things you should know about Uncharted Legacy of Thieves. Therefore, this article will tell you 10 things you should know.

Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Graphic Mode

There are three graphical options to choose from in Uncharted: The Legacy of Thieves Collection, and choosing the right one should go a long way in enhancing your gameplay experience. The improved visuals and frame rates across both games are one of the best selling points. There is a Fidelity Mode that renders the game with a frame rate cap of 30 frames per second and a fixed 4K resolution. Anyone who wants a more cinematic experience overall will find this to be the perfect environment.

There’s a Performance Mode for those who want more fluid gameplay without having to sacrifice too much on visuals, with the frame rate bumped to 60 frames per second. As a final option, there is the Performance+ mode, which drops the resolution to 1080p but targets a frame rate of 120 frames per second. This mode works best with a TV that supports 120Hz, and if you’re okay with taking a hit on clarity.

Combo Takedowns

With Chloe and Nadine, players can also get combo takedowns in Uncharted: Lost Legacy. Because Nadine’s AI isn’t great, it takes patience and practice. A crafty treasure hunter can also take out a few threats first and turn them into a blazing gunfight after that.

Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Cutscenes

There are lengthy cutscenes in the Uncharted games, and Uncharted Legacy of Thieves is no different from it. In Uncharted 4, there is a lengthy chunk of non-interactive content to sit through at the beginning, making it easy for players to watch a cutscene and then do a couple of things in-game before stopping. Some gamers can skip over these, but if you want to take in the magnificent graphics in the cutscenes, you should set aside some time for them.

Difficulty

You will have to pick the right difficulty in Uncharted Legacy of Thieves. A nice range of difficulty options has always been offered in the Uncharted games, catering to all types of players, from casual players to completists. There are difficulty levels from Very Easy/Explorer to Very Hard/Brutal. Players returning to Uncharted The Legacy Collection might be tempted to switch immediately to the higher difficulty levels.

It is still important for players to be aware of just how challenging these are. If you are just looking to sit back and enjoy the story, you might want to choose a lower-difficulty setting. Those looking to enjoy the flow of the story, while still having a bit of a challenge, would find the Normal difficulty to be just right.

Stealth

Set-piece action is one of the biggest selling points of the Uncharted games, where you can watch explosive gunfights or jump across crumbling platforms in the face of death. Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection’s two games certainly has some of the most thrilling gunfights of the entire series, even rivaling the Nepal section from Uncharted 2.

However, some sections of the game are better approached stealthily rather than steamrolling through the entire game. In addition to saving ammo, you can also watch some cool stealth takedown animations and ledge pulls you wouldn’t otherwise get to see.

More Features

PlayStation 5’s DualSense controllers are one of the most extraordinary features. It will likely have haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, which are amazing in other games. Uncharted Legacy of Thieves will likely have this feel as well. Combat, driving, and in-game actions like swinging from ropes have also been improved, according to the studio.

Additionally, PlayStation 5 owners can expect incredibly fast loading times and gorgeous graphics from this collection. This collection includes spatial 3D Audio, adding a great deal of immersion and depth to the game’s sound.

Enemy Corpses helps you

By looting all enemy corpses after gunfights, you can ensure you’ll never run out of bullets. You will probably get plenty of ammo to compensate for what you just spent. Using it is also a great way to gain more powerful weapons in future encounters with enemies, so keep an eye out for those too.

Gameplay

You can use aim assist

Those of you who aren’t master marksmen can take advantage of Aim Assist, provided in this collection. It can save you a great deal of stress during those tense stealth moments.

No Multiplayer

As with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, The Lost Legacy will not include multiplayer modes in the Legacy of Thieves Collection. This is a solo experience, similar to Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection on the PS4. However, you can still play multiplayer in Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy.

New trophies

It is well known that the Uncharted series has been successful in offering trophies over the years. The first Platinum Trophy ever to appear on PlayStation was Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. There is no confirmation of a new trophy list, however, it has lots of chances.
