Nick Kyrgios

The 27-year-old recently stated in an interview that he would retire from tennis if he manages to win any of the four majors. He came within a whisker of winning the Wimbledon title but eventually, it was Novak Djokovic who got the better of him in the final.

Kyrgios has been quite active in the off-season. He took part in the Diriyah Tennis Cup in Saudi Arabia and then the inaugural World Tennis League in Dubai. The controversial tennis ace’s performances in the tournaments had nothing much to write home about. However, the game time he got by playing those two tournaments should hold him in good stead. Kyrgios had his best season in 2022 and will look to build on it as the new season is almost upon us.

The southpaw also took part in the Diriyah Tennis Cup and he managed to reach the semifinals. He defeated Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas on the same day in the competition. His run eventually came to an end with a loss against eventual champion Taylor Fritz.

The world No. 14 won 49 singles matches and lost 26 on the ATP Tour in 2022. He finished the year with two titles. The first of them came at the Delray Beach Open in February while the second one came at the Lyon Open in May.

Head-to-Head and Prediction

The head-to-head scoreline currently stands at 2-1 in favor of Norrie. This does not include his win against Kyrgios at the 2022 Diriyah Tennis Cup.

Prediction: Cameron Norrie to win in three sets.
