The first character to use necrosis damage is Valarqvin. She’s also rather good at it for a 5★ since she introduced a new mechanic and her Necrosis damage is computed before the enemy RES.
In a more detailed analysis, her overall damage isn’t particularly noteworthy, and her skill cycle is excessively lengthy for the length of the debuff. Nonetheless, considering the rarity, the capacity to consistently deal 12k damage while eschewing conventional DEF and RES is really potent.
Valarqvin Arknights Breakdown
With a range of adjusted 3×4 tiles, Valarqvin Arknights‘ ranged Arts attack has a significantly lower ATK and shorter attack interval, along with a quirk that makes her a Ritualist Supporter. Her ability to deal Elemental Damage to foes makes her the first Operator with this skill. Although she is primarily just a novelty for players who are more focused on meta, it makes her a unit worth noting, especially for those who like more off-meta methods.

First skill causes Valarqvin to store two charges from Level 4 and, once fully charged, causes her next attack to do both Arts damage and Necrosis damage build-up equal to a lesser portion of her ATK.
After All I See Has Withered
This is the second skill that increases Valarqvin’s ASPD, lets her attack a second target, and when she uses it, her attacks cause Necrosis Damage to accumulate at a rate that is less than half of her ATK.
Valarqvin Arknights Talents and Traits
S2 is by far Valarqvin Arknights‘ superior talent, mostly because S1 finds it difficult to generate Necrosis damage quickly. It will only take her six attacks at max level and S2M3 to cause the Necrosis fallout, which lasts slightly more than 6.5 seconds. a reasonable tempo! That’s a decrease from 8 attacks at SL7, indicating that mastery also has a significant impact.
By contrast, when facing ordinary opponents, she needs three S1 charges to initiate the Necrosis Fallout. This requires, at most, 8 seconds at S1M3, which is slower than S2 and has fewer targets. Additionally, this presupposes that she can build up to her maximum of two charges before the target approaches and that all three charges hit the same target. Any consistency gains that these charge talents usually yield are largely offset by S2’s comparatively lenient downtime. Lastly, when compared to elites, all these figures add up to something far worse.
She can still use Fallout with just one S2 activation, even while facing bosses and elites, but S1 needs an astounding eight charges at seven SP each!When Valarqvin is used in Joklumarkar operations, her first skill, Revelator, causes her attacks to inflict Necrosis Damage build-up by a small amount of her ATK. Hermit, her second skill, is a simple ATK and ASPD booster.
When Valarqvin Arknights is assigned to the Reception Room, her first base skill, Foresight, increases the speed at which she searches for clues by 10%. If Typhon is also assigned to the Reception Room, the speed of the search is increased by 15%, but it also causes her morale to drop by 0.5 per hour. At Elite 2, it becomes Path to the Future, which also increases the likelihood of finding clues that haven’t yet been posted on the clue board.
Valarqvin Arknights, all things considered, is a good introduction to Ritualist Supporters. Although she is only at her best during Joklumarkar, she may actually hinder her opponents when given the chance.
