Valhalla (Sarah Logan) is back in WWE and is married to Erik of The Viking Raiders
The WWE is home to some of the best wrestling talent in the world, and sometimes relationships blossom between the stars.
Many stars have found their life partners in the ring, and there are several couples in WWE who are married to each other.
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, and Scarlett Bordeaux and Karrion Kross might be some of the biggest real-life couples in WWE but there is another relationship that some might not know about.
The Viking Raiders are one of the best tag teams in the business with Erik and Ivar as the two male members.
However, in November 2022, The Viking Raiders had a new member walking alongside them. It was confirmed that this new female member of the team was Valhalla.
Valhalla is none other than Sarah Logan. Logan was part of the indie scene before joining NXT and becoming part of the Riott Squad.
However, WWE disbanded the Riott Squad and Logan became a singles competitor.
Her time with WWE didn’t last long after this since the promotion made many budget cuts. Logan was one of the WWE stars released during the COVID-19 pandemic budget cuts, and she decided to think about her future after this.
Logan returned as Valhalla and is now part of The Viking Raiders.
The romance between Valhalla (Sarah Logan) and Erik
Sarah Logan and Erik have been a couple for quite a while. The pair started dating Erik during their time in WWE and this relationship blossomed into something more.
The pair got married in December 2018 in a Viking-themed wedding, which suited them given that Erik is part of The Viking Raiders.
Logan also spoke about how happy she was that Erik was still with WWE despite the budget cuts (h/t Fightful).
She was speaking on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions and here is what she said:
“I’m mostly thankful that he’s still there. He’s why we’re able to have the things we have now. I never in my life let someone take care of me, but he’s doing a tremendous job of it.”
There was some more good news to follow for the married couple. Erik and Logan were blessed with a child in February 2021.
They named their son Raymond Cash Rowe, and Erik spoke about his wife’s pregnancy during D’Von Dudley’s show (h/t Wrestle Talk):
“It’s something that she and I had talked about almost since we met. We talked about having kids. We had been planning on having kids in a couple years.
“With COVID and all the crazy changes and all the negative that happened, she was let go from WWE earlier this year. We said, why are we waiting anymore? It worked out.
“I think the story of our relationship and my life is turning negatives into positives. What might be a problem that should have killed me, you turn it around and make it work for you. You make it better than you could have imagined. I feel that is what we did with her release.”
Erik also spoke about a YouTube channel that his wife had launched, and it seems that things worked out for them in the end.
Conclusion
The COVID budget cuts hurt quite a few WWE stars, but the promotion did hire some of them later.
Sarah Logan was one of them, and it was a great idea to pair her with her husband, Erik.
Turning her character into Valhalla also works well in the grand scheme of things, and it will be interesting to see how things develop for the faction in the coming months.
