About the game
In Valheim, players play as fallen Vikings, creating tools, building shelters, and fighting enemies to survive in an open-world survival game. In addition to stylized 3D graphics, the game also features a combat system inspired by action games. Players can play cooperatively with a maximum of ten people and optionally in PvP.
Players can create a world using a map seed after creating their Viking character. There are several biomes in each world, including meadows, the Black Forest, swamps, mountains, plains, oceans, the Mistlands, Deep North, and Ashlands. The enemies, items, and bosses in each biome change the difficulty of surviving there. Players must collect the world’s vast natural resources by foraging, hunting, mining, or farming in order to live.
