Valorant is celebrating its new update Episode 5 Act 1, known as Dimension. All new updates are focused to bring more hype to the game and create a buzz surrounding it. With each new act comes a lot of game-defining additions to it. For this update, the biggest addition is the new map “Pearl”. New maps are the most game-changing events for search and destroy 5v5 format games.
Valorant Episode 5 Dimension – New Map “Pearl”
A new map is alleged to be replacing the current map Split with the new map Pearl. Which is scheduled to go live on 22 June 2022 with the new Episode 5 Act 1: Dimension. India will have to wait for it a little more. As the update goes live at around 11 AM PT. Riot Games has been teasing its new map for some time now. The biannual mega-event that Riot games have been gearing up for, every new Episode is a big event. Because a new Episode rollout means bigger changes. It is a very surprising move by Valorant to remove its most sought-after map from the map pool.
This move might be to force people to use the new map and appreciate it. The new map Pearl is set in a Parallel world Omega earth which was struck by widespread natural disasters and is set to be post-crisis earth. This is an underwater map this further strengthens the lore of the game and makes it more realistic. The basic setup of attackers and defenders will implement that the attackers who plant spike bombs want to destroy the city and submerge it in water.
New Rank in Valorant Episode 5 Act 1 Dimension
A new rank has been introduced to increase the distance between silver and Immortal. The new rank is called “Ascendant”. This will be placed between Diamond and Immortal rank. This will lengthen the grind and create a new step for climbing the rank ladder. As there is a saturation of players holding the Immortal rank and a wipe just doesn’t cut it. The game had to introduce a new rank to reduce that overcrowding.
New Battle Pass Skins and Sprays
The New Battle pass has introduced 3 new skin collection, The Shimmer Series, The Task Force and The Spitfire. You can get the new battlepass for 1000 Valorant Points. The Shimmer series does look very elegant and beautiful, fitting the new theme and world (Omega Earth). There are also 15 new sprays this battlepass.
Sprays are for players to let out their emotions better. When they hit an amazing headshot or an amazing clutch or maybe a trickshot. Whatever it may be sprays let you flaunt and express your unique style. Customizing your roster of spray paints is also a part of your loadout customization for players. Which spray are you gonna use to troll your opponents to make them rage?
