If you are playing with Harbor in Valorant then the Valorant Harbor guide is the best thing you can have. Read more to know about it.
In Episode 5 Act 3, this water-based controller was added to the Valorant roster as the twentieth agent. From India’s coast, Harbor is a water-based controller. His sovereignty with ancient technology dealing with water assists him in achieving his objective of creating space for his team to either take control, defend, or retake a site.
Unlike most other controllers in the game, Harbor has difficulty with slowing down and stalling pushes. It’s best for fast retakes and site executions. In addition to having a unique set of skills, Harbor also boasts a variety of other unique skills. Because there are plenty of options, players should get used to them and get creative. The Valorant Harbor guide below will help you to understand how to use his abilities, what are the best maps for him, and more. So read this guide till the end to understand everything.
Activate a wave of water. Fire it to send the wave rolling forward. Use it again to stop the wave’s progress. Players who are hit are slowed.
When you hit the ground, a sphere of shielding water spawns that blocks bullets. FIRE to throw. ALT FIRE to underhand throw. As soon as you make contact with the ground, the shield spawns.
You can use a wall of water by sending it forward. You can use FIRE to send it forward along the ground. Hold FIRE to guide the water along the path you want, setting up a wall along its path as it passes through the world. You can also hold FIRE while bending to stop the water early. Players who are hit are slowed.
Use your artifact’s full power to summon a geyser pool on the ground. Repeated geyser strikes will target enemy players in the area. Players who are caught within a geyser strike will be concussed by the energy.
With Cascade, a controller can scale onto a site under protection from an Operator in an Operator, Chamber heavy meta. Alternatively, this ability is best used on offense or defense when moving up long corridors. Because this ability can be shot through, it is an excellent combination with Fade or Sova for killing enemies.
There are some similarities between Cove and Viper Toxic Orb, but there are also some differences that you need to consider before using them. Using Cove as a site line blocker has the added benefit of not being spammed through smoke because it blocks bullets. You’ll get more value out of this ability if you use it more as a sage wall as opposed to a traditional orb smoke. However, once the shield of Cove is broken, the ability will fade soon afterward.
In the same manner as Toxic Screen, High Tide can be used to block long sight lines such as those through Breeze A or Icebox B sites. It should be viewed as a dynamic version of Toxic Screen. The main advantage of using Toxic Screen in this manner is that it regenerates faster than High Tide, whereas High Tide has a much longer cooldown time. High Tide has the benefits that it can be curved, that it can stop early to be deployed more quickly, and that once it recharges it can be reused in a different location.
In Fracture, Harbor can act as the primary and only controller. His High Tide can be bent very creatively and can cover multiple angles for the defender side. The recent updates to Fracture make dome smokers such as Omen and Brimstone unable to cover all the entry and exit points on their own and require a secondary Controller to do so. As a result, Harbor might be the key agent on this map, capable of handling all angles on his own and assisting the team to quickly take control of the site.
Defendants can hold a variety of positions in Icebox with varying heights. With his Cove, you can safely cross mid, which is right in front of Mid-Boiler. Harbor’s ability can be most effective when executing a mid-to-B-Site strategy. By deploying Cascade, you can take over the site quickly, preventing enemy vision from reaching B-Main from B-Yellow.
The Breeze map is an open one, and having hollow smoke that can block bullets to some extent should give spike planters enough time to safely plant the spike and retreat with squad support. A one-on-one game against multiple enemies can be made more effective with Harbor’s ability to isolate enemies.
Another one of his abilities, Cove, could be useful since Valorant players will sit in the fog and neutralise the spike for a little period of time without being concerned about approaching bullets.
